Welcome!



Welcome to Ms. Parks' Class' Blog!

I am Ms. Parks-- a 2nd Grade teacher @ New Town Elementary in Waxhaw, NC. Our school has been focusing on Globalization, and this year we were lucky enough to have a VIF teacher come from New Zealand. Our Grade level has been focusing on the region of "Oceania" and have been studying the various countries of this region.

As a grade level that has a VIF teacher, we are apart of a program that intogrates globalization into our curriculum. As part of the program, we needed to create a blog and interact with others from around the world. I hope you enjoy exploring our page as we learn how to blog, and as we learn more about the world.
